This sneaker tower serves as memorial to Meg Cross Menzies. On January 13, 2014, Meg was hit and killed by an impaired driver while she and her husband, Scott, were on a training run for the Boston Marathon. In the background is a cross marking the place she lost her life. A facebook group entitled Meg's Miles was formed with the intention to keep Meg’s memory alive by encouraging one another to experience Meg’s passion for running, while also sharing her unconditional love for people and selfless giving. Runners from across the world have dedicated runs in Meg's memory and runners have created this memorial. Many of the sneakers have messages written on them. Some knew Meg personally, but many who never even met her, have been touched by her story and donated running shoes. A similar memorial was erected at mile one of the Boston Marathon this year, and her husband completed the marathon in her memory. Run 4 Meg!

My photographs, however, I feel reflect my love of nature and the natural talent God has given me to let others experience that...
