Great capture of this courthouse. We lived in Hanover for 7 years and this made me just a little homesick for the area!

Artist's Description

Built in 1735, this historic courthouse located in Hanover Court House, Virginia. In 1763, Patrick Henry argued the Parson's Cause case, accusing King George III of tyranny in overturning colonial law without regard to the wishes of his subjects. This is the third oldest courthouse in continuous use in the United States.
